BudgEat 2018 year in review

2018 for us was a period of self reflection and figuring out what we were as a Brand in the Food Technology space. There were a lot of work on our part to get done; by refining the product and building the best possible platform for our users.

As any Startup, there were pivots made with BudgEat Technology and formulating the best features to offer customers. 

From providing custom Loyalty receipts so our Business partners would have an ease on customer onboarding, working on a draft IOS version of the mobile app, to a brand new redesign of our website and a more focused direction for the business. 

We aligned ourselves with a cause #NOPlastic2019, and partnered with a local brand 100% Dominica to bring awareness to the ban on plastic items.

In 2018 we proudly registered the name BudgEat Technology Services and shamefully redesigned our logo 2 more times.

For this coming year 2019, we plan on doing less development to our platform and more onboarding of Businesses to offer a better, more reliable experience to our users. One of our immediate products we plan on introducing soon is BudgEat's Peer-2-peer Food Delivery. This feature will allow anyone who is looking to make a few extra dollars, deliver Food to Customers around them, and allow young professionals or busy individuals to get their food delivered to them.

There are a lot more coming in 2019. But in the mean time, we'd love for you to keep posted and keep supporting our efforts in creating something special for Dominica ...
